On 1 January 2024, the revised insurance supervision law will come into force, which will result in far-reaching changes in the field of insurance intermediation. Insurance intermediaries must assess whether their current or planned activities will qualify as insurance intermediation as of 1 January 2024. Such an assessment should also be carried out by all persons who, for example, recommend insurance contracts, provide options to conclude an insurance contract on their websites or otherwise act as facilitators.
